SPARC Cascavelle: 7th Annual Mauritius International 7’s Rugby Tournament

The 7th Annual Rugby Tournament will be held this weekend, 28-29th September at SPARC Cascavelle. This was announced yesterday, during a press conference held at Villas Caroline. This event is in collaboration with Rugby Union of Mauritius and the partners Flight Centre, Air Mauritius, SPARC, SPUR and NRI. This 7th edition of the Mauritius 7’s Tournament will be participated by South African U19 and U14 teams namely, Warriors, Marlins, Margate, Reddam, Impala, Outeniqua and Penryn. This exciting event will also have three Mauritian U14 and U19 club teams participating against each other including the Mauritius 7’s Women Senior touch and full contact teams.
Frankie Horne is the proud tournament ambassador who is a South African Union Player. He played for South Africa Sevens team in 2016 and contracted for the 2017.-08 IRB Seven World Series. Vision Sports aims at promoting and creating awareness about sports on the island of Mauritius.
